Simple spicy lentil stew

- 1 onion
- 3 gloves of garlic
- 2 chilis
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- salt and pepper
- 2 coconut milk
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 3 dl red lentils
Chop the onion, garlics and chili
Rinse the lentils until the water runs clear, then drain.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan on medium high heat and gently fry the choped onion, garlics and chili until the onion softens.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, coconut milk and the red lentils.
Reduce the heat to medium and simmer with the lid for about 20-25 minutes until the lentils are soft.
Serve with rice and naandbread.
